Arrest Made in NJ Forest Fire

Man charged with burning 500-acres

The man who allegedly started a fire that claimed 500-acres of New Jersey forest has been arrested.

Andrew Frake, 32, was hanging out in the woods in Pemberton Township, N.J. on Friday when he lit an uncontained campfire, police say.

Authorities say the Browns Mill, N.J. man thought he had extinguished the log he lit, but after leaving, it reignited and spread.

By the time the fire was contained Saturday, it had burned through 500-acres of Burlington County forest.

Investigators arrested Frake on Monday. He faces charges of arson.
