It happened last Monday at 8:45 p.m. in Uwchlan Township, according to investigators. Police say a family was inside a vehicle on the 100 block of South Village Avenue waiting for a family member. While they were waiting, a masked man came up to the driver’s door and demanded money, according to investigators. The man allegedly had a gun in his hand.

The family told the man they had no money and the man then walked away towards a parking lot on 140 South Village Avenue, according to police. Investigators say a vehicle then left the parking lot and traveled towards Route 100. Police describe the vehicle as a small, older silver or gray car with dull paint.

Just prior to the robbery, police say the victims spotted a man waiting in the parking lot near them. The man approached the family’s car after a few minutes, according to investigators. Police say the man is a person of interest and the victims were able to complete a composite sketch of him.

He’s described as a medium-built white male, standing 6-feet tall in his late teens to early 20’s.
