An alleged gunman is now in police custody after a barricade situation in Levittown.

Police say they were called to a home on 75 Rocky Pool Lane near New Falls Road. A man was inside the house armed with a shotgun, according to investigators.

Police officers and SWAT team members surrounded the home. New Falls Road was shut down and residents were advised to stay inside their houses.

Officials say the suspect surrendered to police around 5 p.m. Police have not yet revealed the man's identity.

No one was injured in the incident.
