Another Interboro Student Found Dead

Three weeks after the suicide of two Interboro School District girls, another student is found dead

The Delaware County school district rocked by the joint suicide of two high school girls hit by an Amtrak train suffers another blow only three weeks later:

A male Interboro student's body was found Wednesday, according to NBC Philadelphia sources. Police aren't releasing the student's name yet but say they are investigating this as a possible suicide.

The teen was a senior at the high school, sources say.

His body was found on the 2500 block of Ridley Avenue in the city of Chester -- that's the location of an old mill where the student and his band would practice, according to police.

Less than three weeks earlier, the local community was shocked and in despair after two young girls killed themselves in a suicide pact.

Interboro students Gina Gentile, 16, and Vanessa Dorwart, 15, carried out the suicide pact by standing on the Norwood train tracks, holding each other and screaming, until a high speed Amtrak train hit them Feb. 25.

The accidental January death of the boyfriend of Gentile and friend of Dorwart, 17-year-old Bill Bradley, had apparently been devastating to the teens.

A third teen, who had also planned to kill herself with Gentile and Dorwart, was at the train station that Thursday morning but changed her mind and yelled at the girls to get off the tracks at the last minute, according to police.
