Four people were injured when an ambulance transporting a patient struck another vehicle last night.

The Gloucester Township, N.J. emergency services ambulance was transporting a patient to a hospital when a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Joaquin Martinez exited a driveway along the unit block of Davistown Road and was struck and overturned Thursday around 7:30, according to township police.

Police say Martinez and three members of the EMS crew -- ambulance driver Marques Fields, 27; ambulance crew Angela Pedersen, 35; and medic David Massey, 47 -- all suffered minor injuries, police said.

The patient was unharmed.

Following the crash neighbors became curious onlookers as police investigated the wreckage. The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
