Adopt a Malvern Rescue

Eight of the dogs rescued from a Malvern rancher will be available for adoption next week

The Chester County SPCA announced Friday that eight of the 54 dogs rescued from a home in Malvern on Monday will be available for adoption on Monday, April 25.

Most of the dogs found at the home at 7 Crumley Ave. were small, full-bred dogs.

You can adopt one of the rescues starting at noon.

The breeds include Yorkshire Terriors, Poodles and Poodle mixes, Malteses and Shih Tzus. They range in age from one to eight years old, according to the CCSPCA.

Adoption requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The adoption fee is $125 and includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, micro-chip and a bag of food.

The rest of the dogs will be available soon, officials said.

The Chester County SPCA is located at 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, Pa.
