Police are trying to identify a man who was found dead from a gunshot wound on the corner of Connecticut and Arctic avenues in Atlantic City last Thursday night.
Authorities are hoping that the identification of the victim will lead them to the suspects in connection with the shooting. (WARNING: Photo of deceased victim on prosecutor’s site can be disturbing.)
Police responded to a 911 report of a man lying in the street 10:30 p.m. Thursday. At the corner of Connecticut and Arctic avenues, they found a white man in his 20s or 30s with a bullet wound in his stomach.
The man was brought to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:57 p.m.
