Police in Morrisville, PA are hoping surveillance video will lead them to the man who tried to kidnap an 8-year old girl with special needs. NBC10's Daralene Jones reports on how the child got away. (Published Friday, Aug 23, 2013)

Police are looking for a would-be kidnapper who tried to grab an 8-year-old girl but she escaped after biting his hand.

Authorities in Morrisville, Bucks County say the man got out of his car and grabbed the girl along the 300 block of West Bridge Street, placed his hand over her mouth and dragged her toward his car Monday around 4p.m.

Police say she fought back, kicking and biting the hand he placed over her mouth until he released her and drove off.

Surveillance video showed the car making several passes through an adjacent alley prior to the incident but authorities say it did not capture good picture of the suspect because tree limbs were in the way.

If you have any information in the case, contact Morrisville Police at 215-295-8112.
