Police are investigating the death of a 71-year-old woman in the Rhawnhurst section of the city.
Police say the woman’s body was found inside an apartment on Langdon Street. She was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m. Monday. While there did not appear to be any signs of trauma on the woman’s body, there were signs of a possible struggle inside the apartment, according to investigators.
Northeast Detectives have ruled the death as suspicious. No arrests have been made. They continue to investigate.
