700 Pot Plants Found in Bucks County Home: Cops

Police say they uncovered a major pot growing operation in East Rockhill.

A tip led police in Bucks County to an East Rockhill home and they say they found more than 700 marijuana plants growing in the basement.

Kevin Scott, 41, who was renting the Branch Road house is now facing charges of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pennridge Regional Police and Bucks County detectives obtained a warrant and raided the home on April 27th.

They found 214 potted marijuana plants and another 500 seedlings growing under special lighting, according to investigators.

In addition to the plants, officers seized lighting and potting equipment, scales and other items commonly used in the sale of marijuana, said police.

Scott is in the Bucks County Prison on $500,000 bail.
