Suspicious Fire Burns Outside Philadelphia Market

Philadelphia Police questioned a person of interest after a suspicious fire broke out outside a Philadelphia store.

Flames broke out around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday outside HoHo Market along S 60th Street near Catherine Street in the city’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood. the blaze left black soot and debris in front of the store.

Witnesses told police that somebody set fire to some trash and wood in front of the store, said firefighters.

Police could be seen patting down a man shortly after the blaze and placing him in a police cruiser. They didn’t reveal if that man will be charged, only calling him a person of interest.

No one was hurt.
