Investigators say the 60-year-old man was struck by a vehicle along Ridge Avenue near Lemonte Street around 7:45 p.m. Police say the vehicle then fled the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries though he is expected to survive. No word yet on the description of the vehicle.
