A 5-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a car in South Philadelphia.
Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night near 5th and Fitzgerald Streets. Investigators say the little boy was hit by a silver van and was taken to Children’s Hospital of
Philadelphia where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the car did stop, police say.
No charges have been filed. Police are investigating the incident.
