5 Boys Arrested in Dover Beating, Robbery

Dover police have arrested four teenagers and a 12-year-old in the beating and robbery of a 41-year-old man.

The boys swarmed the Dover man as he was walking on South Kirkwood Street on Saturday afternoon, police said.

The boys repeatedly punched and kicked the man, causing a cut to his face and swelling to his head.

Police say the teens stole the man's bag and fled.

Police obtained surveillance video showing the teens beating the man before running into a nearby home.

They were arrested soon after on charges of robbery, riot, assault and conspiracy.

They are 12, 13, 14 and 15 years old. Police are seeking a sixth suspect.

A 15-year-old also faces a charge of resisting arrest for leading police on a foot chase.
