4 Men Rob Moorestown 7-11

Police say the men took $400 in cash from the store clerk's wallet.

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday morning at a Moorestown 7-11.
It happened shortly after 4 a.m. on Chester Avenue.

Police say two suspects wearing dark-colored hoodies, ski masks and gloves entered the store and demanded the lone clerk at gunpoint to move toward the freezer in the back.

Police then say the clerk was duct taped and remained guarded by the two suspects during the remainder of the robbery. Police then say two more suspects dressed similarly to the first two entered and tried to take the store’s Citibank ATM machine by using a hand truck.

When they were unable to do this, police then say the suspects took the clerk’s wallet holding around $400 in cash and then left through the back door.

The clerk managed to free himself and called 911. He was not injured during the ordeal.
