4 Dead After Violent Night in Philadelphia

Philadelphia police say four people were killed, including a 17-year-old boy, in separate shootings across the city late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

A 35-year-old man was shot and killed in the Nicetown section of the city early Sunday morning. It happened at 16th and Hunting Park Avenue around 4 a.m. No arrests have been made in the shooting.

Police say 20-year-old Victor Rodriguez was shot once in the head following an argument with another man at 52nd and Spruce Streets in West Philadelphia around 3 a.m. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. An off-duty Chester City police officer took the shooter into custody, according to investigators.

In South Philadelphia, a man was shot and killed at 22nd Street and McKean shortly after midnight. It is still not clear what prompted the shooting. No arrests have been made.
