A 4-year-old girl found wandering the streets of Philadelphia in the early hours of Monday morning was claimed by her parents after they woke up to find her gone, say police.

Police say there doesn’t seem to be “anything sinister” in the case.

Philadelphia police picked up the 4-year-old toddler 2:15 a.m. Monday along the 4000 block of Germantown Avenue in the city’s Hunting Park section.

Someone spotted the child walking around and kept her warm in a car while they waited for police to arrive.

It appears that the little girl walked out of her house on her own, say police. When her parents woke up to find their young daughter missing, they immediately contact police.

The toddler is now back in the care of her parents.
