A gunman held up three groups of people over a 40 minute span in Old City last weekend, concerning detectives who are working to get him off the streets.
The 20-year-old suspect started his robbery spree at 9 p.m. Saturday along the 300 block of South 5th Street, police said. He pulled a gun on four men in their 20s and demanded money. They gave him $80 and he fled to a black SUV.
Nearly 30 minutes later on the same block the suspect held up two people, making off with an undetermined number of belongings.
The third robbery happened at 9:40 p.m. at Front and Dock streets. There, the gunman held up a man and his wife, both in their 50s. He made off with $65.
Investigators describe the suspect as a 6 feet tall, thin and clean shaven and was wearing a light gray hoodie, black baseball hat and black sneakers. Police believe he was driving a dark colored Infinity SUV.
