3 Arrested for Deptford Daytime Break-ins

The alleged ringleader was released from prison just 10 months ago.

Police have arrested three men in connection with a dozen daytime home invasions over the past six weeks in Deptford, New Jersey.

Convicted sex offender and ex-con Maurice Perry, 47 and brothers Clarence Loghry, 22, and Ryan Loghry, 20 were arrested Thursday.

The threesomeโ€™s six week crime spree began in early September. Police say they burglarized 12 homes in both Bexhill Farms and Country Club Estates.

โ€œMy son came home and when he got there, he noticed that things just didnโ€™t look right in the house. Then he went upstairs and the piggy bank was broken and the jewelry box was slung all over the bed. They went room to room and spent about a half an hour in the house,โ€ victim Dennis Probst told NBC Philadelphia.

Probst says heโ€™s never felt so violated.

Police tell NBC Philadelphia that the men broke into the homes during the day, entering through the rear of the houses and exiting through the front door.

Now that the suspects are in custody, police will begin the search for the stolen items.
