1 Dead, 5 Wounded in Shootings Across Philadelphia

One person is dead and five others are wounded after multiple shootings occurred during a violent Saturday night across the city.

A man was shot and killed on the 700 block of West Montgomery Street in North Philly around 11:15p.m., according to reports.

Shots were fired on the 5500 block of North American Street in the city's Olney section around 11:20 p.m., wounding one person, according to police. Authorities say only five minutes later, shots rang out on the opposite end of the block and another victim was hit.

Another man was wounded on the 1300 block of McKinley Street in the Frankford neighborhood around 11: 45 p.m., according to officials.

The first of the five shootings occurrred about 10:30 p.m. on the 4600 block of North Marvine Street in the Logan section, authorities said. The victim was hit in the foot.
