Child IDs Murder Suspect

An eight-year-old boy says he saw a homicide defendant fleeing after his mother's boyfriend was stabbed to death in bed in a central Pennsylvania home a year ago.

Twenty-five-year-old Joshua Lookingbill is charged in York County in the January 2013 slaying of 37-year-old Nakia Williams.

The child testified Monday that he saw "Josh" coming down the stairs and then saw "blood everywhere" and heard his mother crying and screaming.

She testified that she awoke when the victim bolted up in bed, told her to call the police and an ambulance and then fell back.

On cross-examination by chief public defender Bruce Blocher, she said she had previously told Lookingbill that the victim had struck her a few times, but also testified that the defendant had previously threatened the victim.
