Profiles in Excellence: Radnor High School's Shaiba Rather

Shaiba is salutitorian for the class of 2013.

Shaiba Rather is a 2013 National Merit Scholarship finalist and a varsity volleyball athlete who has served as Radnor High School's middle hitter since freshman year.

Having played the double bass since elementary school, Shaiba attended both District and Regional festivals for band as well as orchestra and was a member of the school's Honors Jazz Band.

As a vice president of Radnor's Model United Nations club, Shaiba was provided various opportunities to explore her interests in International Relations and Public Speaking. She has been an active member of the student council since her freshman year and is was the senior class president.

Shaiba will attend Harvard University in the fall.
