A 2-year-old boy remained in critical condition Thursday morning after he was struck by a car Wednesday night in West Philadelphia.
The incident happened along Cambridge Street near 41st just before 9 p.m., authorities said.
Paramedics took the boy to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to be treated for his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash, police said, and the circumstances surrounding it are under investigation.
