A Philadelphia mother is reunited with her toddler who had been missing for several days.
After a harrowing week for a Philadelphia mother, police say her 2-year-old child has been found.
Officials say the Philadelphia Police Department is bringing the Beverly Thorpe to Allentown to reunite her with her son, Dashawn.
Thorpe called authorities Tuesday after her ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old Tyrone E. Rowland, failed to return the boy after he babysat him for several days.
The toddler was taken to a hospital for a precautionary examination, according to police.
A warrant was issued for Rowland's arrest Thursday. Police charged him with interfering with custody and endangering the welfare of a child.
