Two women are recovering after a robbery and home invasion in the Fairhill section of the city. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night at a home on the 1000 block of West Clearfield Street.

Police say three suspects broke into the house and held two women and a man at gunpoint before stealing an undetermined amount of cash.

While no shots were fired, the two women were treated at Temple University Hospital for minor head injuries, according to investigators. Police believe they were both struck in the head with a gun. They are both in stable condition. The man was not injured.
