2 Tied Up, 1 Assaulted in Kensington Home Invasion

Police say the suspects got away with $7,000 cash.

A family was terrorized overnight in a home invasion in Kensington.

Police tell NBC10 that two masked men broke into the home on the 100 block of Wishart Street around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

They say the men tied up a woman, 48, and her husband, 55, with tape before kicking down the door of their 26-year-old son's room and hitting him in the eye with a gun.

Investigators say they fled the scene with $7,000 cash that the elder male victim was saving to buy a house.

The suspects are described as a Hispanic male and a black male.
