Two people have been hospitalized after a bar fight ended in stabbings in Port Richmond Sunday morning.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday outside Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grille at the intersection of Gaul and East Hagert Street. Investigators say the men got into a verbal dispute that escalated.

A 31-year-old man was treated at Episcopal Hospital for a stab wound in his torso. His antagonist, a 26-year-old, is listed as being in critical but stable condition at Temple University Hospital with a wound in his chest.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a white male who was wearing a black shirt. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
