Police say two men are being treated for their injuries after they were found shot in the parking of a Trenton hospital this afternoon.
Investigators say the men drove to the Capital Health Regional Medical Center located at 750 Brunswick Avenue shortly before 2:45 p.m. One of the men is in stable condition and the other is in guarded condition. Police believe the men were shot in the western part of the city.
The emergency room was put on lockdown for a brief period as a safety precaution.
About 226 patients are housed at the facility. There are 422 full-time registered nurses. The hospital just underwent a multi-million dollar renovation.
