New Castle County paramedics say two people have been shot at an apartment complex in the Newark area. One of the victims is dead.
New Castle County Police say a man in his 30s was shot in the chest and was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. A man in his 20s was shot in the head and was in serious condition when he was admitted to Christiana.
Police have not yet identified which man died of his injuries.
Police say the shooting occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Monday in the Harbor Club Apartments on Cheswold Boulevard.
The shooter remains at large, police say.
