2 People Shot, Wounded in South Jersey

Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a shooting that left two people wounded in South Jersey.

Vineland police tell the South Jersey Times that the shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Edna Drive.

Both victims were taken to hospitals, but further details on their conditions were not disclosed on Sunday.

Authorities have not released specific details on the shooting, including how many shooters may have been involved and what type of weapon was used. They referred all questions to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, but officials with that agency could not be reached for comment on Sunday.
