2 Officers Injured in West Philly Crash

Police say two officers are in stable condition after a crash West Philadelphia Sunday.

It happened around 11:29 a.m. when the driver of the police cruiser and another driver approached the intersection of 49th and Chestnut Street. Police say the officer hit the car and then struck a utility pole. The driver of the other car hit a light pole.

Both officers suffered face lacerations and neck injuries. No word on the condition of the other driver.

No arrests have been made.
