2 High School Students Dead in New Jersey Crash

Four juveniles were passengers in the car that crashed in Randolph, N.J., near 48 Ironia Road

Officials say two high school students died in a New Jersey car crash Saturday.

The two were passengers in the car that crashed in Randolph, N.J., near 48 Ironia Road, at around 1:30 p.m., according to the  Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

They were students at Randolph High School, according to authorities.

In a statement Sunday, Randolph Township Schools Superintendent David Browne said in a statement that the shchool would be open Monday and counseling services would be provided to students.

"Our entire school community is in mourning and our thoughts are most certainly wih the families and friends of the two students, beloved by so many," Browne said. 

The victims' exact ages and identities were not immediately released, nor were the circumstances surrounding the crash.
