2 Firefighters Injured in Poultry Building Fire

Two firefighters were injured while battling a fire at a poultry building in Harrington this weekend.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office says the fire broke out Saturday afternoon. No chickens were in the building when the fire was discovered.

One male firefighter was taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark for smoke inhalation. Another male firefighter was taken to Kent General Hospital in Dover for smoke inhalation. Both were in stable condition.

State fire investigators are trying to determine the cause and origin of the blaze.

Officials say damage is estimated at $200,000.
