2 Dead, 2 Injured in Night Club Shooting Overnight

Four people were shot and two of them killed during a shooting at an after-hours night club in the Fern Rock section of Philadelphia just after midnight. Numerous vehicles parked on the street were struck by bullets near the intersection Chew and Park Avenues.

"The whole street looks like it was a shooting gallery," said Philadelphia Police Captain Michael Gormley.

Two of the shooting victims were transported to Albert Einstein Hospital where they were pronounced dead. A 39-year-old man was shot three times in the chest and a 26-year-old man was shot once in the back.

The two surviving shooting victims are in stable condition and struck in the arm and leg.

Police say the shooting started as an argument between motorcycle club members. Police found a 45-caliber automatic handgun at the scene.

The after-hours night club is housed in the Tiny Learning Academy learning center building.
