Two men allegedly tried to lure an 11-year-old boy into a van early Monday in the North Pointe development in Solebury Township, Pa.

Police say the young boy was taking his dog for a walk on Kitchens Lane when a black van with two men inside pulled up to the curb. The passenger in the van, who appears in this police sketch, allegedly asked the boy for help finding a lost puppy.

The man told the boy they would give him some candy in exchange for his help, according to investigators.

The boy said no and walked immediately home. The men are believed to be in their 20s.

Solebury Township Police say that parents should instruct their children to immediately report contact with strangers and give them a call to report any suspicious encounters.
