2-Alarm Fire Leaves Dozens Homeless in Camden County

A two-alarm fire ripped through a Camden County apartment complex leaving dozens of people homeless Sunday.

Firefighters responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Drive in Voorhees around 1:00 a.m. About 45 people were forced to leave their homes after fire raced through 16 units on the second floor.

It took firefighters about an hour to get the blaze under control, according to officials.

Two people were rescued from the burning building, including a woman trapped on her porch.

No injuries were reported.

There is no word on what sparked the blaze.
