Police rushed a man to a local hospital after a gunman hit him multiple times in Philly late Monday night.
The shooter hit the victim multiple times near the intersection of Thouron Avenue and Weaver Street in the city's West Oak Lane section shortly after 11 p.m., according to authorities.
The victim, who is in his 20s, remains in critical condition, police said.
Investigators said they recovered at least 17 shell casings from the scene, but they are unsure of a motive at this time.
