14-Year-Olds Say They Traded Video Game System for Drugs

Troopers from the Belle Vernon barracks say the boys were hospitalized after they allegedly traded a man their video game system for LSD and heroin.

State police say they're investigating claims of two 14-year-old southwestern Pennsylvania boys that a man traded them LSD for their video game system.

Troopers from the Belle Vernon barracks say the boys were hospitalized after using the hallucinogenic chemical on Wednesday.

Police aren't identifying the boys and have yet to name the suspect because he has not been charged.

The boys tell police they got six doses of the drug from the man, and also some heroin.

Officials with the Charleroi Area School District say the boys are eighth-graders at Charleroi Middle School. The alleged drug trade didn't happen on school property and the students will return to class once they're well enough.

Charleroi and Fallowfield Township, where the boys live, is about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh.
