14-Year-Old Charged with Robbing Delaware Goodwill Store Three Times

Delaware State Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy they say robbed a Goodwill store three times.

The agency said in a news release Tuesday that the first robbery occurred on Oct. 5 at Goodwill on East Lea Boulevard in Wilmington. Troopers say the 14-year-old robbed the store at knifepoint and fled with cash and clothes.

Police say the second robbery took place on Oct. 15 when the youth and a second suspect robbed the store. Officers say the 14-year-old brandished a machete while the second suspect threatened an employee with a garden hoe. They escaped with cash.

Troopers say on Nov. 25, the 14-year-old robbed the Goodwill while armed with a machete.

Police say they found the youth at his home later that day. He was charged with robbery and other offenses.
