14-Year-Old Boy Shot in the Foot in West Philadelphia

A teenage boy is in the hospital after he was shot in West Philadelphia Monday night.

The 14-year-old boy was with a group of other teens on Vodges Street at 8:12 p.m. when an unidentified gunman opened fire.

The teen was struck once in the right foot and the gunman fled the scene. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Police have not yet revealed whether the teen was an innocent bystander or the gunman’s intended target. They continue to investigate.
