A 14-year-old boy is in the hospital after he was shot in South Philadelphia late Tuesday afternoon.
The teen was on 13th and Christian streets at 4:37 p.m. when an unidentified gunman opened fire.
The teen was struck once in the left buttocks. He was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he is currently in stable condition.
No weapon was recovered and police have not released information on any suspects.
