Family of Missing Teen Offers Reward

The family of a missing New Jersey girl is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information on the location of their daughter.

Sarah Townsend, 18, was reported missing 10 a.m. Monday morning after her boyfriend found her car in Green Acres field, adjacent to Sherman’s Pond in Burlington Township with the Florence Township teen nowhere to be found, police say.

"We love her we miss her we just want her home," said Sarah's mother Laurie said with her husband Roy at her side.

Police and fire departments who were searching for Sarah came up empty handed by the end of the day Monday.

Sarah has not been seen since she left for school Monday morning, police say.

"We have a car parked here with a cell phone, a purse," Police Lt. Bruce Painter told NBC Philadelphia. "Her parents haven't heard from their daughter. A boyfriend calls in that he finds the car here and that's when we get the missing person's report."

Sarah's boyfriend Matt Welsh told police that he and Townsend would visit Green Acres Field often.

"Anybody who knows where she is help please," said Welsh.

Sarah is 5-foot-4, 105 pounds with blonde hair, according to authorities.

Authorities searched by ground, air and water Monday to find nothing.

Painter says that there is no evidence of foul play yet.

The search was called off Tuesday but that doesn't mean Sarah's family has given up hope.

"We want you to come home -- we want you to know we love you," said Laurie.

If anyone has information on her whereabouts, please contact Burlington Township Police at 609.386.2019.
