Bensalem Police announced the arrest of two California men in a massive drug bust in which they seized $10 million worth of heroin and Methamphetamine.

Investigators say it happened Sunday around 6:45 p.m. while police were conducting surveillance in the area of State Road and American Drive. While there, police say they found a suspicious vehicle on the 2600 block of State Road.

Police say they then spotted two men walking southbound on State Road acting suspicious. The men drove away in a blue tractor trailer with a California registration, according to investigators.

Police say a Bensalem officer stopped the vehicle on the 3700 block of Street Road for a traffic violation and placed the truck “out of service” for safety violations. Police then used a K-9 dog to conduct a drug search of the truck. During the search, police say they found 15 kilograms of heroin and 20 pounds of Methamphetamine. The total street value for the drugs is around $10 million, according to investigators.

Police identified the two men as Estaban Velasco, 35, of Galt, California and Juan Ledesma-Nolasco, 48, of Livermore. Both men were arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison on $1 million bail.
