Police are looking for the thieves who got away with $10,000 worth of alcohol left over from the U.S. Open.

The incident was reported Tuesday around 11 a.m. at the Merion Golf Club on the 300 block of Lancaster Avenue in Haverford Township. Investigators say someone stole the liquor from the Trophy Club Tent near the 18th hole.

Thousands flocked to the 2013 U.S. Open last week. Alcoholic beverages were available at the tent during tournament.
