Amish Van Collision Injures 10 People in Pennsylvania

Ten people have been injured after a van carrying Amish people collided with a car in south-central Pennsylvania.

LNP reports state troopers and Bart Township fire and rescue crews responded to the crash about 5 a.m. Wednesday on Route 896 and Dry Wells Road.

Police didn't immediately release the names of those involved or say how the crash occurred.

But officials at the scene say six people were treated for injuries at the scene, and four taken to Lancaster General Hospital-- including one person who went into cardiac and respiratory arrest. Their conditions could not be immediately determined.

Troopers were continuing to investigate, but a civilian clerk at the Lancaster barracks says no information was available.
