Philadelphia Woman Kills Boyfriend's Brother Over Missing $10: Witness

A Philadelphia judge ordered a 20-year-old woman held without bail while she awaits trial on charges that she killed her boyfriend's brother during an argument over $10.

Renee Jones testified Tuesday that she witnessed her granddaughter, Kiara Fredericks, stab 26-year-old Andre White to death at the southwest Philadelphia home they shared on Oct. 11.

Jones said Fredericks lost track of $10 she had given her and then accused White of taking the money.

White turned his pockets and socks inside out to prove he didn't have it. But police say Fredericks stabbed him in the neck and chest with a butcher knife anyway.

Jones believes Fredericks may have been smoking "wet," a term for marijuana dipped in PCP or formaldehyde.

It's unclear if Fredericks has an attorney who could comment.
