A man is dead and another in the hospital after a house fire in the Kensington section of the city.
It happened Monday shortly before 10 a.m. at a 2-story home on the 3400 block of Joyce Street.
When fire crews arrived they found heavy fire on the first floor, according to investigators. The fire was placed under control at 10:16 am.
Officials say one man died in the fire. Another man was taken to the hospital where officials say he is in "unstable condition." They continue to investigate the cause of the blaze.
