One person was arrested and another person was hospitalized after a hit-and-run in Strawberry Mansion early Saturday morning.
Investigators say that a car hit a 22-year-old man who was riding a bike at the intersection of 30th and Diamond Streets shortly before 7:00 a.m. The injured man, who has not been identified, was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is listed as being in stable condition with face and leg injuries.
Police arrested 24-year-old Lanaye Jones at the intersection of 19th and York Streets a short time after the crash. A witness told police that Jones had fled the scene in her vehicle after the accident. She has been charged with assault and driving under the influence.
