One person was killed and several others were injured when a pickup truck drove into a farmers market in North Jersey.
Authorities say the accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. Sunday in Hawthorne, but would not immediately disclose further details.
Hawthorne Mayor Richard Goldberg told NJ.com (http://bit.ly/1srVwCn) that the pickup truck drove through a barricade, struck several people and briefly dragged a woman who later died.
Goldberg said two or three people injured in the accident were being treated at hospitals. He said a man had been taken in to custody, but did not say if the man had been driving the truck.
