1 Dead After 3 Motorcycles Crash

Authorities say a man died following a crash involving three motorcycles near an on-ramp in eastern Pennsylvania.

State police in Monroe County say 66-year-old Robert Seminuk of Milford was with a group of motorcycles trying to merge onto Route 33 in Hamilton Township on Saturday afternoon.

Police said his vehicle hit the rear of another motorcycle, causing both to fall to the ground, and a third motorcyclist set down his bike to avoid hitting the other two.

Coroner Bob Allen told the Pocono Record that Seminuk was taken by ambulance to be airlifted to a hospital, but died before he could be transported.

He said an autopsy scheduled for Monday morning will help determine whether his death resulted from the crash or from another cause.
